Sub: CBIC increases the effective rate of Road and Infrastructure Cess (RIC) collected as additional duty of customs on petrol and diesel by Rs. 8 per litre

Dear Member,

This is to inform you that CBIC has issued Notification No.21/2020-Customs dated 5th May, 2020 by making amendments in Notification No. 18/2019-Customs, dated 6th  July, 2019, 

Please note that this notification shall come into force w.e.f. 6th May, 2020.

Members may kindly make a note of the above changes.
