Subject: Invitation to participate in Intex Sri Lanka 2025

Dear Sir/ Madam,

The Council has issued a Circular inviting participation in Intex Sri Lanka, scheduled to take place in Colombo from August 6–8, 2025. A copy of the Circular is reproduced below.

We have received confirmations from many of our members. However, we would once again invite those members who have not confirmed their participation. Sri Lanka is a promising market for manmade fibre textiles, especially for Nylon Filament Yarn (NFY), Viscose Spun Yarn (VSY), Polyester Filament Fabrics, Poly-Viscose Fabrics, Poly-Cotton Fabrics, etc. Furthermore, Intex Sri Lanka is a renowned exhibition, and it is the 17th edition to be held this year. We look forward to your confirmation.

Sub: Invitation to Participate in the 17th Edition of Intex Sri Lanka

Dear Sir / Madam,

We are pleased to inform you that the MATEXIL (formerly SRTEPC) is organizing participation of Indian companies in the 17th edition of Intex Sri Lanka, South Asia’s premier international textile sourcing show, to be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 6th to 8th August 2025

About Intex Sri Lanka 2025:

Since 2015, Intex South Asia has hosted 15 successful editions across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, establishing itself as the largest international textile sourcing platform in South Asia. With participation from 2,500+ suppliers and over 55,000 trade buyers from 40+ countries, the show enables companies to forge strategic business alliances, explore new markets, and stay updated on global trends.

Sri Lanka is widely recognized as one of the most ethical apparel sourcing destinations in the region. Its strong export-driven apparel industry and rising domestic consumption make it an ideal market for Indian synthetic textiles, including value-added products.

Exhibition Details:

Important Note:

The Council has applied for Financial Assistance under the MAI scheme. However, like many other EPCs, the Council has still not received any approval. If the above exhibition gets approved under MAI, the Council will provide suitable re-imbursements to the participants.

Application & Payment Details:

Exporters registered with MATEXIL (formerly SRTEPC) or other Textiles EPCs can apply for participation.  Members interested in participating in the above event are requested to send their duly filled-in “Application Form” with participation fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council”, Mumbai.  The participation charge may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the bank details given below:

Withdrawal Policy & Refund of Participation Fee:

• Members may please note that after allotment of the booth, withdrawal/ no show will not be allowed, and the amount deposited along with the application will be forfeited.
• In case any individual travel or visa issue or any other case, no refund will be given.
• Only if a national-level travel ban happens from India to Sri Lanka or vice versa, or if the Council cancels its participation in the event, then the participation amount shall be refunded.
