Sub: Reciprocal Tariffs imposed by the US
As you are aware, the US President Donald Trump have imposed "Reciprocal Tariff” on imports from India, citing India’s high duties on the US products.
The US President has also unveiled a comprehensive tariff policy by imposing at least 10% duty on all goods imported into the US. These tariffs will come into effect on April 9 at 12.01 a.m. ET.
The Council is in the process of getting feedback from its Members so that a suitable & comprehensive representation can be sent to the Government highlighting all concerns and challenges.
