Sub: Invitation to participate at the 21^st International Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkey February 26-28, 2025
 

Dear  Sir / Madam,            

We are glad to inform you that the Council is organizing participation of Indian companies at the  21^st International Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkey scheduled to be held  from 26 to 28 February 2025.  The participation of Indian companies in  the above event  is supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry under the MAI Scheme . 
 

Event details are as under:

About International Istanbul Yarn Fair

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair is  the biggest yarn fair held annually in the world. The event is organized by TÜYAP at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in İstanbul. 
 

Report on the previous edition of Istanbul Yarn Fair in 2024 :

1.  The last edition of the fair i.e., the  20th International Istanbul Yarn Fair held in Feb 2024 had a total  participation of 659 exhibitor companies and company representatives from 18 countries and 16,700 professional visitors from 18 countries, total area was 50,200sqm.

2.  Buyers from countries in Western Europe, North- South America, Latin America, West and Central Asia, Balkans & East Europe, Middle East, Caucasia, and Africa in addition to Turkey had visited the exhibition.

3.   Visitor Satisfaction rate (International Istanbul Yarn Fair in 2024) - 92% of visitors plan to visit the fair next year. 87% of the visitors recommended the fair to their business contacts. 94% of the visitors expressed very high level of satisfaction with the show.

India’s Exports of Man-made Fibre Textiles to Turkey for the year 2024 :

• Turkiye’s total global import of MMF textiles were around US$ 5 billion during 2022 in which India’s share is only 11%. There is substantial scope to further increase our exports to Turkiye
• Yarn were the dominant products with nearly 79% share followed by fibre 17%, fabrics 3% and made-ups 1%
• Major Indian MMF textiles being exported to Turkiye are Polyester Textured Yarn, Polyester filament yarn, Polyester Viscose yarn, Viscose Spun yarn, polyester viscose fabrics, Polyester Staple Fibre etc.
• Major suppliers of MMF Textiles to Turkiye are USA, UK, India, Belgium, Italy, Netherland, Egypt and Germany etc.
• There is tremendous scope to increase India’s exports to Turkiye and increase our market share.
   

Participation Fees

The event is covered under Market Access Initiatives (MAI) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India subject to the prescribed conditions.

We are pleased to offer you a subsidized participation fees of Rs.1,40,000/- for a 9 sq. mtr booth with standard accessories. Further, those participants who are eligible as per MAI guidelines will be re-imbursed airfare of Rs. 90,000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is lower).  

The participation fees will include Chairs, Lockable Reception table, Dust bin/ Wastebin, Spotlights/Long Arm Lights, Power Socket, Fascia Names, Round Table, Wooden shelves / Hanging Rails, High Raised Branding of 1.2 mtr on the peripheral

Visa

SRTEPC  ( Now MATEXIL ) will issue the Visa Recommendation letter to the participants .

Application for Participation

Exporters registered with SRTEPC (Now MATEXIL) and other Textiles EPCs can apply for participation. 

Members interested in participating in the above event are requested to send their Application in the “Microsoft Form  (Click to Open)”,

send us the enclosed Registration Form (Click to Download), duly filled in, to the email Id a.jaiswal@matexil.org with cc to chetna@matexil.org, along with participation fees by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council”, Mumbai.  

The participation fee may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the bank details given below.  

Confirmations regarding Participation will be accepted on “First-Come-First-Served” basis with full payment latest by 25^th December 2024
 

Cancellation Policy:

Withdrawal of participation from the above Fair will be allowed subject to the following conditions : 

·         80% Cancellation charge, if withdrawn on or before 18th December 2024

·         No refund will be available if withdrawn thereafter.
