Re: Invitation to participate at Colombiatex, Medellin from 28 to 30 January 2025
Dear Members,
We are pleased to inform you that MATEXIL (Formerly SRTEPC) is organizing participation of Indian companies at Colombiatex in Medellin, Colombia from 28 to 30 January 2025. The participation of Indian companies at Colombiatex 2025 is organized in association with Embassy of India at Bogota and supported by Ministries of Textiles / Commerce under the MAI Scheme of Govt. of India.
About Colombiatex :
Colombiatex of the Americas 2025 is the premier event for the textile industry in Latin America. It offers a unique opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services to a wide range of exhibitors from all over the world.
The highlights of COLOMBIATEX 2025 are as follows:

Venue : Convention and Exposition Center, Plaza Mayor, Medellin
Duration of the Fair : 3 Days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Exhibitor Profiles : Manufacturers, Exporters/ Traders of Textiles / Textiles Raw Materials, Textiles & Apparel Equipment and Machinery, Specialized Services.
Product Profiles : All types of Yarn, Fabrics, Fashion Fabrics including Embroidered Fabrics, Suiting, Shirting, Made-ups, Fashion Accessories, Home Textiles etc.
Number of participants: 15 member-companies under MAI Scheme on FCFS basis.
Participation Fees : Rs.3.05 Lakhs - 9 sqm Shell Scheme.
Booth Package : 1 Table, 3 Chairs, 3 Fabric display Rods or 3 Yarn Shelves, 1 Fascia Board, 1 dustbin, 3 Lights & 1 power socket.
Deadline for accepting Application Form : 25th October 2024
Publicity & Promotion :
The Event will be publicized extensively by INEXMODA, the Organizers of the renowned International Fair in Colombia. The Council will also publicize the Fair suitably through a separate E-Flyer, Exhibitors Catalogues, sending invites to relevant textile importers in Colombia and co-ordinate with Indian Embassy to promote the event to the leading importers of textiles & clothing, among other publicity measures.
Market Potential :
Exports of MMF Textiles from India to Colombia during 2023 : US$ 41.39 Mn
Import of MMF Textiles by Colombia from World during 2023 : US$ 1001.97 Mn
India's Share : 4.13%

Visa : Though participants will have to obtain their visa on their own, the Council shall, however, facilitate their efforts to get Colombian Visa with the help of the Indian Embassy in Bogota.

Members may please note that after allotment of booth, Withdrawal / No Show will not be allowed, and the amount deposited along with application will be forfeited.
