Dear Sir/Madam,

This has reference to Circular No. ES/06/2024-25 dated July 10, 2024, on the above subject- Copy re-produced below for ready reference.

In this regard, kindly note that we have extended the last date for sending us the Categorisation Form till August 5, 2024 by 5 p.m.

We would once again request you to please send us the Categorisation Form (Download format), duly filled in and signed by the authorized person, on or before August 5, 2024 (Monday) by 5 p.m. at the Council’s Head office in Mumbai located at Resham Bhavan, 1st Floor, 78, Veer Nariman Rd, Churchgate, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400020.

We solicit your support and cooperation in the matter and look forward towards receiving the Categorisation Form at the earliest.

Sub: Categorisation of Membership

Dear Sir/Madam,

The next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Council will be held on 20^th September 2024 (Friday).

There are few vacant seats in the Committee of Administration of the Council for which elections will be held.

Eligibility for Voting & to Contest in the election:

To be eligible & to contest in the election, Registered Members must fulfil the following criterias:

• Have completed the two years membership with the Council also renewed their Membership for the year 2024-2025 on or before 31^st July 2024 (Wednesday).

• Having minimum average exports of Man-made Fibre or Technical Textiles for last two financial years (2022-23 & 2023-24) as shown in the table below, self-certified export details to be submitted in the enclosed format (Download format) by 31^st July 2024 (Wednesday) along with copies of valid MSME certificate & PAN card of authorised person.

In this regard, please note the following:

1. Only Authorized Representatives of Ordinary Members, whose names are officially registered with the Council, are eligible to vote. The ordinary members should have the prescribed average exports of Man-Made Fibre & Technical Textile Items during the last two financial years, i.e., 2022-23 & 2023-24.

2. Any change in the Authorized Representative should be notified to the Council on the Company’s letter head. Additionally, a copy of the Authorized Representative’s Pan Card and a Board Resolution from the Association / Company / Society / Corporation, nominating the new Authorized person must be submitted to the Council. This will enable Council to update its records with regard to the change of name of the Authorized Representative. Non-compliance of this requirement will lead to continuation of the Representative as per the Council’s records. Request to change in the name of Authorized person will not be accepted after 31^st July 2024 (Wednesday).

Non-compliance of the above criterias/requirements by the members, will make them ineligible to vote and to contest in the forthcoming Election.

We, would request you to please send the enclosed Categorisation Form, duly filled in and signed by the Authorised person, on or before 31^st July 2024 (Wednesday) by 5:00 pm at the Council’s Head office in Mumbai located at Resham Bhavan, 1st Floor, 78, Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate, Mumbai-400020.
