Dear Member,

We are glad to inform you that the Council is organizing the participation of Indian companies at 20^th edition of Technotextil 2024 in Moscow, Russia from September 03 – 05, 2024. 

About Technotextil 2024:

For over 20 years, the Show has been the main specialized exhibition of technical textiles, equipment for its processing, nonwovens and finished products from textiles with "smart" properties.  The Indian companies will have access to a large number of pre-qualified visitors and a direct line to market, all under one roof.

Profile of visitors includes buyers, importers, manufacturers, traders, distributors, wholesalers & retail consumer.

Participation Fees:

We are pleased to offer you a subsidized participation fees of Rs. 1.2 Lakhs for a 9 sq. m. shell scheme booth with standard accessories. The Application Form is enclosed herewith (Click to Open).

The participation package (per 9 SQM) includes a maxima booth with surrounding partitions, 1.5 KW outlet and electricity daily consumption, spot light, fascia, 1 counter, 1 wastebasket, 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 wall hanger and carpeted floor.

All extra furniture/ extra services apart from the above booth package will carry an extra charge.

The event is covered under Market Access Initiatives (MAI) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India subject to the fulfilment of the prescribed conditions.

Further, eligible exporters under MAI guidelines will be re-imbursed with airfare of Rs. 90,000/- (Economy Class Air Travel) or actual (whichever is lower) or a lumpsum amount subject to the final approval from the Ministry. A copy of relevant extracts of MAI guidelines is enclosed herewith (refer Annexure A Click to Download).

Visa

The Council will issue the Visa Recommendation letter to the Participants.

Russia – India Trade Scenario

•          India’s Exports of Technical Textiles to Russia reached US$ 21 million in the year 2022.
•          Russia Imports of Technical Textiles from the World stood at US$ 3 billion in the year 2022.
•          India represents only about 1% share of the Russia’s total Technical Textiles Imports from the world in the year 2022.
•          Hence, there is good scope to increase exports of Technical Textiles from India to Russia.

Application for participation

• Exporters registered with MATEXIL (formerly SRTEPC) or other Textiles EPCs can apply for participation.  Members interested in participating in the above event are requested to send their duly filled in “Application Form” with participation fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council”, Mumbai.  The participation charge may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the bank details given below:

Withdrawal & Refund of Participation Fee :

Members may please note that after allotment of booth, withdrawal /No show will not be allowed, and the amount deposited along with application will be forfeited.
