Sub: Merchanting Trade
As you are aware, Merchanting Trade covers shipment of goods from one foreign country to another foreign country without touching Indian ports subject to compliance of RBI Guidelines.
In this regard, DGFT has now issued Notification No . 62/2023 dated 29.02.2024 to allow shipment of goods within one specific foreign country also under the purview of Merchanting Trade subject to compliance of RBI Guidelines .
