Sub: Invitation to participate at the 20^th International Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkey February 22-24, 2024

Dear Member,

We are glad to inform you that the Council is organizing the participation of Indian companies at 20^th International Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkey from 22 to 24 February, 2024. The participation of Indian companies at the above show is supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industry under the MAI Scheme of Govt. of India.

Event details are as under:

Title : 20^th International Istanbul Yarn Fair

Dates : February 22-24, 2024 / 3 days

Venue : Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center, Buyukcekmece, Istanbul, Turkey.

About International Istanbul Yarn Fair

The International İstanbul Yarn Fair, the biggest yarn fair held annually in the world, is organized by TÜYAP at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in İstanbul.

The details of the Past edition of Istanbul Yarn Fair 2023 :

The last edition of the fair i.e. 19th International Istanbul Yarn Fair held in June 2023 had participation of around 584 exhibitor companies and company representatives from 22 countries and around 12000 professional visitors visited the show.
Buyers from top countries like Iran, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Spain, Uzbekistan, in addition to Turkey had visited the exhibition.
Visitor Satisfaction rate (International Istanbul Yarn Fair in 2023) : 95% of visitors plan to visit the fair next year. 87% of the visitors recommended the fair to their business contacts. 98% of the visitors expressed very high level of satisfaction with the show.

India’s Exports of Man made Fibre Textiles to Turkey for the year 2023 :

Turkiye’s total global import of MMF textiles were around US$ 7 billion during 2022 in which India’s share is only 8.11%. There is substantial scope to further increase our exports to Turkiye
Yarn were the dominant products with nearly 79% share followed by fibre 17%, fabrics 3% and made-ups 1%
Major Indian MMF textiles being exported to Turkiye are Polyester Textured Yarn, Polyester filament yarn, Polyester Viscose yarn, Viscose Spun yarn, polyester viscose fabrics, Polyester Staple Fibre etc.
Major suppliers of MMF Textiles to Turkiye are USA, UK, India, Belgium, Italy, Netherland, Egypt and Germany etc.
Hence, there is tremendous scope to increase India’s exports to Turkiye and increase our market share.

Participation Fees

The event is covered under Market Access Initiatives (MAI) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India subject to the prescribed conditions.

We are pleased to offer you a subsidized participation fees of Rs.1,80,000/- for a 9 sq. mtr booth with standard accessories. Further, eligible exporters under MAI guidelines will be re-imbursed airfare of Rs. 90,000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is lower). A copy of relevant extracts of MAI guidelines is enclosed herewith (Annexure A)

The participation fees will include : 1 Wooden Table, 4 Chairs, 1 Info Desk, 3 Yarn Shelves, Fascia Board with booth number, Standard Carpet, 1 spotlight (75W) for each 3m2, 1 plug group socket (220 volt), 1 Dustbin.

Visa

SRTEPC will issue the Visa Recommendation letter to the participants.

Application for participation

Exporters registered with SRTEPC and other Textiles EPCs can apply for participation. Members interested in participating in the above event are requested to send their duly filled in “Application Form” with participation fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council”, Mumbai. The participation charge may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the bank details given below. Participation will be accepted on “First-Come-First-Served” basis with full payment latest by 5^th December, 2023

Cancellation Policy:

Withdrawal of participation from the above Fair will be allowed on the basis of the following:

80% Cancellation charge, if withdrawn on or before 12^th December, 2023
No refund will be available if withdrawn thereafter.
