Re: Invitation to participate at HEIMTEXTIL - GERMNAY during January 2024

Dear Members,

As part of Export Promotion Programs of the Council, we are organizing participation of Indian companies at HEIMTEXTIL in Germany from 9 to 12 January 2024.  The participation of Indian companies at HEIMTEXTIL is supported by Ministries of Textiles/Commerce & Industry under the MAI Scheme of Govt. of India.

About Heimtextil:
Heimtextil is the industry's most important global event for interior textiles, interior design and interior trends. With its new products and trends, it kicks off the upcoming season and gives important impulses to both exhibiting companies as professional visitors from all over the world.

The highlights of HEIMTEXTIL 2024 are as follows:

Minimum Number of participants: 10 member companies under MAI Scheme.
Participation Fees              : Rs.4.60 Lakhs plus 18% GST for a booth of 12 sqm
Booth package:        1 table, 4 chairs, 5 fabric rods OR yarn shelves, 4 lights, 1 Electrical outlet, 1 waste paper bin, Fascia Board, carpet etc.

Additional furniture/equipment & power will be available at an additional cost.

Allocation of booth:
Allocation of booth will be done as per the product profiles of exhibitors in the respective halls.  Due to limitations in stand demarcation, some stands will measure 15 sqm.  Please note, the participation fee offered above is for 12 sqm under the MAI scheme of MOC, Govt. of India.   An area of more than 12 sqm will be calculated on the basis of the actual cost of the Organizer.

Publicity & Promotion:
The event will be publicized extensively by Organizers of the renowned International Fair in Germany. The Council will also publicize the Fair suitably by sending invites to relevant textile importers in Germany, Social Media, and coordinate with the Indian Embassy to promote the event to the leading importers of home textiles & contract textiles among other publicity measures.

Financial Grant: 

1. As SRTEPC is organizing participation of member-companies at HEIMTEXTIL in Germany under the MAI Scheme of Govt, all eligible participating companies will be able to avail benefits as reduced cost of participation under MAI subsidy scheme as above, subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions.
2. SRTEPC will also provide all eligible participants with re-imbursement of costs of 2-way air-fares, subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions.  The reimbursement of cost of economy class air-fare to eligible participants will be limited with a maximum ceiling of Rs.90,000/-, subject to approval of MOC under MAI Scheme.

Criteria for availing reimbursement of airfare:

• Reimbursement of airfare is eligible for the exporting company having an export turnover below Rs.50 crores (FOB value) in the preceding financial year.
• Members to have completed 12 months of Membership and are regularly filing Export returns with the Council.
• Permissible only to the regular Director / Partner/ Proprietor or a regular officer of the company on Senior Managerial Position (not admissible to a foreign national)
• Claim forms duly filled in and completed in all respects must be submitted to the Council within 45 days of completion of the event.
• Initial duly filled in MAI Application form for claiming re-imbursement of air fare should reach to Council on or before 16 days of your departure date from India to Germany.

Conditions for availing MAI subsidy:

1. An exporter can avail MAI benefit for participation in 3 approved events in a financial year. 4^th time participation in the Fair will be allowed without MAI subsidy.
2. An exporter can claim MAI benefit for participation in one booth only. Additional booths can be booked by the participant without MAI benefit (One booth per company only for MAI eligibility)
3. A maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair/exhibition would only be eligible for MAI assistance, i.e., members who have availed assistance three times (including past cases) for a particular fair/exhibition, thereafter, have to participate in that fair on their own.

Visa: Though participants will have to obtain their visa on their own, the Council shall, however, facilitate their efforts to get Visa with the help of the Indian Embassy in Germany and Organizer of the Show.

Apply for participation:

Exporters registered with SRTEPC, and other Textile EPC’s can apply for participation. Members interested in participating in the above event are requested to send their duly filled in “Application Form” with participation fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai. Participation charge may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the Bank details mentioned below. Participation will be accepted on “First-come-First served “ basis.

Withdrawal & Refund of Participation Fee:

Members may please note that after allotment of booth, withdrawal /No show will not be allowed, and the amount deposited along with application will be forfeited.
