CBIC amends Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations 2018

Sub: CBIC amends Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations 2018 

Dear Member,        

CBIC has issued Notification No. 56/2022-Customs (N.T.) dated 30^th June, 2022 by making the following regulations further to amend the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018, namely: -  

These regulations may be called the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (First Amendment) Regulations, 2022 and shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.  

In the said regulations, in regulation 15 -     

1. in sub-regulation (2), for the words, figures and letters, “till 30^th June 2022”, the words, figures and letters, “till 31^st December 2022” shall be substituted.  

Members may kindly make a note of the above.
