Scroll returned by SBI on account of wrong / insufficient particulars of the exporters

Sub: Scroll returned by SBI on account of wrong / insufficient particulars of the exporters 

Dear Sir, 

Air Cargo Complex (Sahar) has issued Public Notice No. 17/2022 dated 25^th May, 2022 regarding scroll returned by the State Bank of India (SBI) on account of wrong / insufficient particulars of the exporters.  

Following drawback (EDI) scrolls have been returned by the State Bank of India, International Air Cargo Complex Branch, Sahar (Mumbai) due to reasons as ‘’accounts have either been closed or for other discrepancies, the details of which are as per Annexure” mentioned against Shipping Bills in the list enclosed provided by the Bank. Details of the scroll numbers provided by the bank are given in the Public Notice No. 17/2022.  

Cases where the sanctioned amount of drawback is returned by bank due to errors and how to rectify such types of errors by the exporter is already given in detail in earlier Public Notice No. 3/2022 dated 19.1.2022. In all such cases, after rectification of errors, ACC has advised the exporter to inform the Drawback (EDI) Section scroll number details along with S/Bills details so that action to credit the amount in the exporter’s account can be initiated.   

In view of the above, all concerned exporters and their CHA are hereby requested to take note of their returned Drawback amount and take action as suggested in Public Notice No. 3/2022 dated 19.1.2022 

Members concerned may kindly make a note of the above and do the needful at the earliest.
