Sub: Amendment to Notification No. 52/2003-Customs dated 31.03.2003 for extending exemption from IGST and Compensation Cess to EOUs on imports till 30.06.2022
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that CBIC has issued Notification No. 18/2022-Customs dated 31st March, 2022 by making amendments in Notification No. 52/2003-Customs dated 31st March, 2003 to extend the existing exemption of IGST and Compensation Cess for imports under the specified export incentive schemes (i.e. Advance Authorisation, Export Promotion of Capital Goods and Export oriented units etc.) till 30th June, 2022.
Members may kindly make a note of the above.
