CBIC amends Notification No. 04/2019-Central Excise reducing Road and Infrastructure Cess (RIC) on Petrol and Diesel

Sub: CBIC amends Notification No. 04/2019-Central Excise reducing Road and Infrastructure Cess (RIC) on Petrol and Diesel 

Dear Member, 

CBIC has issued Notification No. 9/2021-Central Excise dated 3^rd November, 2021 by making the following further amendments in Notification No. 04/2019-Central Excise dated 6^th July, 2019 in order to reduce Road and Infrastructure Cess (RIC) on Petrol and Diesel. 

In the said notification, in the Table-  

1. against Sl. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 13 per litre” shall be substituted;  
2. against Sl. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 8 per litre” shall be substituted. ​​

This notification shall come into force w.e.f. 4^th November, 2021.
