Re: Invitation to participate in HEIMTEXTIL IN GERMANY during January 2022
Dear Members,
We are glad to inform you that the Council is organizing participation of its member-companies in HEIMTEXTIL in Germany from 11 to 14th January 2022 in association with the Embassy of India in Germany. The participation of Indian companies in HEIMTEXTIL is supported by Ministries of Textiles/Commerce & Industry under the MAI Scheme of Govt. of India.
Heimtextil is the largest International Trade Fair for Textile Interior Design in Frankfurt am Main. During Heimtextil 2020, 62970 trade visitors from across the world came to visit the leading International Trade Fair for home and contract Textiles. More than 2900 Exhibitors presented their innovations during the trade Fair.
The highlights of HEIMTEXTIL 2022 are as follows:
Please note that the participation fee is subsidized as per the MAI grant, but does not include airfare, hotel accommodation, transportation etc.
Booth package: Fascia board as per the MF India Pavilion theme, Carpet, White wood octanorm walls, Shelf Boards or Fabric rod of 1 Meter Panel (distribution between shelf boards and fabric rods can be selected by exhibitor up to total 5 quantities), 1 Table 70cm x 70cm round or square, 3 Chairs, 1 Hand disinfecting pump, 1 Waste paper basket, 1 Triple Electric outlet, 4 LED lights, 2 Pin board, and basic power supply.
Additional furniture/equipment will be available with additional cost.
Location of booths: Availability of booths in hall no. 10.0 and 6.1.
Publicity & Promotion: The event will be published extensively by Organizers of the renowned International Fair in Germany. The Council will also publicize the Fair suitably by sending invites to relevant textile importers in Germany, social media and coordinating with the Indian Embassy to promote the event to the leading importers of home textiles & contract textiles among other publicity measures.

Visa: Though participants will have to obtain their visa on their own, the Council shall, however, facilitate their efforts to get Visa with the help of the Indian Embassy in Germany.
Travel Restriction to Germany: In view of concerns regarding COVID 19 vaccination and possibilities of persons travelling to Germany for the fair, it may kindly be noted that COVISHIELD being approved by WHO under EUL gives persons complete access for travel, without and restrictions, quarantine, etc.
COVAXIN persons if planning to stay for 5 days need not quarantine as per AUMA (The Trade Fair Association in Germany) In case of stay more than 5 days, they will need to quarantine for five days (before the show dates) and provide negative test report on the 5th day of their quarantine term.
There is a ray of hope that within a week COVAXIN should be receiving the approval from WHO.
Apply for participation: Exporters registered with SRTEPC, and other Textile EPC’s can apply for participation. Members interested to participate in the above event are requested to fill the “Online Reply Form” and pay the participation fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque at par in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai. Participation charge may also be sent to the Council through RTGS/NEFT transfer based on the Bank details mentioned below. Participation will be accepted on a “First-come-First served “basis.
