CBIC amends Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations 2018

Sub: CBIC amends Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations 2018 

Dear Member,        

CBIC has issued Notification No. 78/2021-Customs (N.T.) dated 30^th September, 2021 by making further amendments in the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018. 

These regulations may be called the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Eighth Amendment) Regulations, 2021 and shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 

Amendments have been made in Regulation 15 of the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018 to extend the transitional provisions of the said regulations from 30^th September, 2021 till 31^st December, 2021. 

Members may kindly make a note of the above.
