Sub: Safeguard Duty announced by Turkey on Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF)
It is to inform that Turkey has announced imposition of Safeguard Duty on polyester staple fibre covered under HS code 5503.20.00 with effective from today 24/08/2021.
The Safeguard duty will be as given below:
1st Year – US$ 0.06/Kg
2nd Year- US$ 0.058/Kg
3rd Year-US$ 0.056/Kg
The above is as per the upfront information received by the Council. Any updates in this regard will be communicated to the Members in due course.
Member-exporters exporting PSF to Turkey may make note of the same.
