CBIC exempts taxpayers having AATO upto Rs. 2 crores from the requirement of furnishing annual return for FY 2020-21

Sub: CBIC exempts taxpayers having AATO upto Rs. 2 crores from the requirement of furnishing annual return for FY 2020-21 

Dear Member, 

CBIC has issued Notification No. 31/2021 – Central Tax dated 30^th July, 2021 by exempting taxpayers having Annual Aggregate Turnover (AATO) upto Rs. 2 crores from the requirement of furnishing annual return for FY 2020-21. 

This notification shall come into force from 1^st August, 2021. 

Members are requested to kindly make a note of the above.
